Tim Hudenburg is a graduate from the College of William and Mary in Virginia and following graduation enlisted in the US Army. He worked his way up the ranks ultimately achieving the rank of captain. He left the Army after the fall of the Berlin Wall and used his GI Bill benefits to pursue a degree in education with a goal of teaching history. He completed his M. Ed at George Washington University and afterwards earned a Master’s Degree in History from George Mason University.  
He has taught APUSH in Fairfax County, Virginia for the last 27 years. Tim has been a long standing table leader as well as a reader on the special alternative exam at the APUSH exam grading in Louisville, Kentucky and more recently in Tampa, Florida. He also is an adjunct history professor at his local community college (NVCC). He also serves as one of only 7 educators on the Teaching Advisory Group board (TAG) for the Museum of the Native American Indian for the Smithsonian in Washington DC . Tim has served as a lecturer on how to effectively use art in the high school classroom at the National Gallery of Art with a specialty on the American West. He also served on the Corcoran Gallery of Art teacher panel as well. 
As a teacher, he honored by the Daughter of American Revolution as a Northern Virginia history teacher of the year and also was selected by the Northern Virginia Council of Gifted and Talented (GT) Education ‘Outstanding Teacher of the Gifted.’ He has been selected for several Gilder Lehrman institutes as well, but his heart is in the classroom teaching history. He is married with two daughters and greatly looks forward to this institute.

You’ll also learn about completing the digital activation process at the start of the school year that will give you immediate access to the new resources and will help ensure that your students can register for AP Exams by the new fall deadlines. In addition, specific attention will be paid to the following AP Classroom resources: unit guides, personal progress checks, AP teacher community, and the AP question bank.
